I made these for women who want to feel the warmth of something real against their skin every day, each disc cut by hand from a sheet of copper, hammered across its entire surface one strike at a time, then linked together so the lower piece moves freely the way copper is meant to.
People have worn copper close to the skin for thousands of years. The women who return to me often say the same thing. Something shifts in a way they cannot quite explain.
