Zarinos's Weave Copper Bracelet
Some things you put on and it feels like your body remembers something. I made this piece for people who are always in motion, whose hands, wrists, and arms have carried the weight of a life well worked. The three strands of brass, silver, and copper are twisted and set by hand, one section at a time, using tools I have kept longer than most people have been alive.
Copper has been worn against the skin for thousands of years by those who needed their circulation to keep up with their lives. The people who return to me never need to explain why.
This is one of the final pieces I will make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it finds the body that needs it most.
