Zarino's Forge Copper Set
Some pieces you wear because they look right. These two are worn because something in you knows they belong there. I made this set for people whose hands and joints reflect a life of hard work, the lattice engraved diamond by diamond across the band, the floral pattern traced slowly alongside it, both finished on the same morning.
Copper has been worn against the skin for thousands of years by those who needed their bodies to keep going. The people who return to me wearing both often say the same thing. Over time, they stopped noticing what once bothered them.
This is one of the final sets I will make before I close my workshop for good. I hope they find the wrists that have truly earned them.
